Hello!
I’m plugging along at my goals for the year! As a refresher, it’s the 40th anniversary of my diagnosis with a muscle disease - so I set a bunch of goals around the number 40. The most important of all the goals is to raise $40K for the Adaptive Climbers Festival.

Raise $40K for the Adaptive Climbers Festival
We’ve raised $13,575 so far. Way to go, everybody! Every dollar raised goes to ACF and supports travel scholarships and adaptive equipment for the climbers.

Hike 400 Miles of the Colorado Trail
As of right now, there’s 180.9 miles to go. We’re getting there!

If all goes to plan, I’ll be able to finish on October 5. (he says with a slight nervousness in his voice). Also on October 5, we're going to have a fun after party celebration in South Denver somewhere.
Between now and then, there are still plenty of ways to join up. I love company!
Options!
Hike the Segment - Join up with me and we hike a segment together.
Hike In & Shuttle - I start off by myself in the morning and begin hiking a segment. At some point, you drive to the end of the segment, park and begin hiking towards me. When we meet up, you flip around and we hike back out to your car (and then we shuttle back to my car). This option lets you hike as many miles as you’d like!
Shuttle - Hang out in a cool part of Colorado while I hike. At the end of the day, pick my stinky butt up at the end trailhead and drive me back to my car (por favor).

Greek Chips
1 package wonton wrappers (small squares)
Olive oil, or butter if you're feeling dangerous
Cavenders Greek Seasoning (or whatever spice mix floats your boat)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F). Place wonton wrappers on oiled baking sheet. Baste top of wrappers with olive oil or butter. Sprinkle seasoning as you see fit. Bake until just barely starting to tan (they overcook easily). Let cool and eat the deliciousness.
